It can be believed that places store feelings, stories and moods of events that happened in them. I base my as yet unrealised project proposal on this assumption. The proposal is for a video projection installation, which refers to an event in my grandfather’s life that happened during the war.

Within this video installation the viewer is supposed to be placed in a picture recapturing the original surroundings where this event had actually happened. I want to ask the question whether it is possible to feel someone else’s feelings if thus located? Especially if we do not associate the surrounding images with anything from our own life and it is thus indifferent to us.
