Moral Rock Garden
Project Synopsis
- An exhibition concept exploring functional sites on the internet in parallel with real space; a gallery. By means of a 'found object', a map, The Moral Rock Garden (Aaron Hill-1734), it will utilise routing as a form of curating which can structure meaning and knowledge.
- Setting up the website as an extension of the physical space and thus also as an analytical and determinant component of both content and form of the exhibition.
- Artists, architects and theorists will be invited to participate on basis of previous work and interest in negotiating the map premise of the exhibition.
- Dialogues between artists, architects, and theorists, who work in a variety of forms (from new media to performative activities) to structure outcomes and facilitate genre interchange and discourse.
- Production period 12 months, which includes online and onsite exhibitions.
