Text/Object
**Please note** this event will now be happening on the 10th July only.
10 July 10am – 5pm (followed by drinks reception)
The broad objective of the conference will be to examine the nature of relations between the theoretical text and the object, and to consider the implications of such examination for research.
Prompted initially by the premise that contemporary practices may largely favour the conceptual or hermeneutic condition of the object (rather than, perhaps, the direct experiential encounter), the conference will seek to frame associated questions that might attend such supposition, and to contextualise the same in relation to considerations of research.
Text/Object seeks to encourage the possibilities of practical presentation and/or presentation of practice
